A Little Bit About Me
Katelyn is a sound designer and audio engineer from Lenexa, Kansas and a graduate of Webster University. Some of her recent design works includes: Hairspray, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (The J Kansas City); If/Then (Summit Theatre); Dial M for Murder (The St Louis Rep, assistant); All My Sons (The New Jewish Theatre of St Louis, associate); The Great Comet of 1812, The Spitfire Grill, Romeo and Juliet, A Bright Room Called Day, American Idiot, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts).
She is also currently a technical director for Olathe North Theatre where she gets to teach students about sound and design. In addition to her work in theatre, Katelyn pursued a degree in English, where she studied how stories are told on paper, on the stage, and everywhere in between.
